Reasons for Cancellation
Please Read the Following: Weather-related cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel any lesson or tour if the weather is not suitable. This is at the discretion of each instructor and manager. In the case of us canceling a lesson, a refund will be given, in the case of us shortening the lesson due to weather a partial refund may be given, or a “time credit” may be given. If the Customer stops their session early: It is wholly at the discretion of the student to stop any lesson/activity at any time for any reason. Simply inform the instructor that you want to stop. Reasons may include tiredness, sickness, lack of interest, fearfulness, getting cold, etc. In these cases there is no discount or refund for the unused portion. In the case of an injury, or accident, a time-credit may be given, please ask. The instructor might stop the lesson early if the student is displaying signs of sickness or abnormal behavior that could indicate a health or safety issue. When you make a booking you are reserving the instructor’s time slot and the equipment. These time-slots cannot be rebooked at the last minute, so there can be no refunds. *If your session is canceled for any of the following reasons there is no refund. Possible reasons your tour could be canceled: Automatic cancellation if the participant cannot swim. Automatic cancellation if the participant does not meet the minimum age and weight requirements. For example, a young child shows up for the mixed adult classes. Automatic cancellation for any participant who has been drinking alcohol or under the influence of other drugs. Automatic cancellation for any person with health conditions that affect their ability to safely participate in the activity. Automatic cancellation for any person showing up late for the activity. Especially group lessons that must start exactly on time. But also private lessons if you are more than 30 minutes late. Automatic cancellation for any person that is attired in offensive or inappropriate clothing. Please Keep it family-friendly. Automatic cancellation for any person that is panicked, overly-fearful, or with a serious ocean phobia. As this impacts their ability to respond or participate safely. Automatic cancellation for any person being rude, or mistreating any staff member or other participant. We reserve the right to refuse service to persons who are unable, or unwilling to follow safety directives. Automatic cancellation to persons who are unable, or unwilling to follow safety directives, or who act in an unsafe manner. Automatic cancellation to persons who willfully abuse or damage the equipment. Automatic cancellation to persons who engage in any offensive or illegal activity.
